My name is William Carter, but all my friends call me Bill. I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA, but I've spent the past 30+ years living in VA. I'm married to a lovely Hungarian woman named Monika and together we have a son named Dylan who is 13 . With the original idea for the defenders group coming from our son the idea for the books came from me. My wife and I then put the idea into story form. The stories are written about real kids in real life situations. Our goal is to promote bully awareness and to show kids the right things to do under these circumstances. Together we can put an end to bullying everywhere.
